I really take issue with this post. For one thing, it is indeed not your birthday. And I don’t think you really consider dinner with my parents a “party party,” do you? And you want me to dance? Unlikely!
But thanks. A quarter of a century is a long time. We’ll see about having a good time, at least. I imagine we can manage that.

Somehow, I don’t think you’re a 2 Live Crew girl, Rose, so I’ll spare you my traditional birthday message… Instead, I’ll just say happy birthday to another quarter-century-er, and leave it at that. :)

Thanks, all. I am indeed the Mrs. Robinson of the comics bloggers, I guess!
And for the record, I was right about the lack of dancing, but if lounging around talking and reading things online is your idea of a party, this place was party central last night. Then again, that’s what it’s like most nights. I had no idea we were such social beings.
And I have to point out that this picture is from 6 weeks ago in New Orleans, sitting in a park across from the French Market. Vacations always seem so long ago. Ahhhh. I suspect Steven made it black and white to be artsy rather than make people think I’m really old, but he knows I’m aware of his sneaky subtext too.
